So I finally picked up a phantom, and have yet to lose with it. My last three games I've built my lists around it and have used both "echo" and "whisper". On both pilots I've used the same three upgrades; advanced clocking device, fire control systems and outmaneuver. Just curious as to what everyone else upgrades their phantoms with?

Whisper + Veteran Instincts + Recon Specialist + Fire Control System + Advanced Cloaking Device

I use my anti-phantom... phantom

Sigma phantom + stygium particle accelerator + rebel captive + sensor jammer.

(Add other ships with stress inducing capabilities for maximum effect)

I fly my Y-wings with ITs, and use them all the time. Oh wait this is about Phantoms? I fly Y-wings instead. Turret > Cloak.

Token factory! I don't often cloak unless I really have to, so I often feel it is a waste to take ACD. I feel the Evade tokens (from SPA) and TL's (FCS) are a better choice for 4 points.

Echo+AdvSensors+AdvCloakDevice+outmaneuver+IntelOfficer.

Vulnerable to high PS turretsniping but amazing in dogfights.

I love flying Echo. Advanced Cloaking is my default, and often my only, upgrade. Hardly ever use crew on a Phantom (sometimes Navigator), but Outmaneuver, Elusiveness, and Predator (Lone Wolf, when I get my hands on it!) are great EPTs.

I flew an squad with two Xs and Ys this summer in a tourney. It did well until a Swarm smashed it.

After my big tourney win last weekend, I am pulling out a thematic list for the tourney two Sundays from now. Black Squadron: just Vader, named TIEs from Black Squadron and a BSP. I always wanted to fly that and I have nothing to prove.

Does anybody play Classics? X wings, Ys, TIES only?
