Rebels: So where is the Tie-Fighter?

By knasserII, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I doubt this counts as a spoiler for anyone but in case there are some purists who want to know nothing about Episode three of Rebels, I'm putting this up as a first post and you've learned nothing other than there is a Tie-Fighter involved from the thread title. Which is a little like learning there was flying in a superman cartoon. See you folks after you've watched it. ;)

For the rest - my real first post is the next one.

So, at the end of the episode, we still don't know where the Tie-Fighter is. I can't believe the writers actually did that to us! The pay-off on this when we do find out I expect to be fun.

But in the meantime, suggestions as to what / where Zeb and Ezra did to / left the Tie-Fighter. The more entertaining the better. :)

Any takers?

There's a forgotten giant statue in the wilderness that now has a bowTIE. Or, given one of the concept art images that just snuck out of Episode VII, they gave it to the farmer to make a house out of.

(OK, the REAL answer is it's carefully hidden until a later episode where it will be the clever trick that lets the crew beat the Imperials, but really, what fun is THAT? ;))

Naturally it's one of those giant statues of the Emperor we see at the end of Ep VI. Love it!

No fun whatsoever. DISREGARDED! :P

As for the TiE, no idea, but the pilot Zeb steals it from. Was that the same pilot Ezra ran into in the "Property of Ezra Bridger" short?

Sure looks like the same guy. Could be a twin or a clone. If it is the same guy, he's really unlucky with his TIEs.

Didn't they say they crashed it deliberately so the Imps couldn't recover it?

Did you see the looks they were flashing each other? Did you hear Ezra when he said "I know what to do with it"? The idea that they ACTUALLY did what they said they did is preposterous! That would be the most unlikely thing to happen. So unlikely, unrealistic, and impossible that... that...

...

Crap, they really did just crash it.

Nah. I think it's been lodged in a giant tree somewhere, covered in wood to disguise it and is currently some lucky child's Most Awesome Tree House Ever.

It just dawned on me that he also looks like the TiE pilot Zeb knocks out in the "Entanglement" short.
