Anyone have any interesting ideas I can do with my character, he likes to build everything he uses himself, has acquired a robo-squid arm (long story) and I'm just looking to find some stuff that'd he be able to make that's not really within the Rulebook.
Fun with Mechanics/Computers

Well outside of cybernetics, when I said robo-squid arm, I mean a cybernetic he took from someone else. He hasn't lost any limbs yet. lol
Those are super cool though, if he ends up needing cybernetics I'm totally gonna use one of those.
Name him Squiddy, give a basic droid brain and voila - a cool pet!
Edited by SkieWith my Jawa mechanic I was going to acquire an R2 droid, remove most of the internals , and then mount an HRB through his head. The power pack would fit inside(more or less) the body, and it would act like a mobile tripod that assisted the gunner by monitoring and stabilizing the power feed, so you wouldn't need an extra PC to help. As an added bonus, the height would be about perfect for a Jawa to hide behind.
Doc Ock, anybody?

You don't have to need cybernetics to get them. A simple want should suffice. Aaaand unlike old Star Wars d20, you wont get any dark side points for doing such things, because there arent such things as dark side points. Just watch out for ion wepons.
My mechanic usually keeps all of his salvage around for Just in Case instances. Who knows when such a thing will come in handy for a repair, sabotage, or fun distraction. My mechanic is not much of fighter, so jury rigging everything is pretty much his MO.
Edited by schweinwagonWell I was just interested more in non-cybernetic things to come up with. My guy isn't really motivated to replace limbs just because he can at least as of yet. I'm just not sure exactly what would already be represented in the rules and what's not jumping the shark.
He does have a couple nice viruses however because crashing security systems is fun and so is stealing their data.
Incorporate it in your slicer gear then, just to make it unique and give it flair. Your signiture tool, maybe? I also like the droid idea. Nothing better than a hacking partner.
