I like Lando's ability and with phantoms the 2 points should give me initiative, if it dont work, i will probably use Han, VI. Instead, but what do people think?

Since you are only using 3 ships and you're not using the full 100 pts., I think that the list could use some changes. If you use Chewie for the Falcon, keep the VI, and that would give you a couple more points to spend elsewhere.
Can you add a Z-95 Headhunter? If so, you could use Airen Cracken to replace Lando's ability within the squad at a lower cost. This would give you 4 points left to spare and you would still be at 98 points to keep initiative. That way, you could add a secondary weapon, like Flechette Torpedoes (2) on Wes with Munitions Failsafe (1). And to fill up that one extra point, you could give the underestimated Determination Upgrade to Airen. I believe that half of the Damage deck has the "Pilot" trait. And DT doesn't just ignore the effect. It tells you to discard the card completely, giving the Z-95 a slightly better chance at surviving.
The Rookie pilots is too expensive for this list. He's the weaker link and not at a good price. So, have a pilot that's weaker in raw power but will help out his team with his ability. And the Flechette Torpedoes with MF will double the impact by combining it with Wes's ability.
Because Wes will be a 10, Airen won't be able to help him much in the offensive, so I would suggest flying Chewie and Airen closer together. If people fire at Airen, Chewie's shots will punish that decision, plus he won't take damage that way. However, if they shoot Chewie, he can take it and Airen will still be able to support Chewie. That said, if you see an opportunity to assist Wes, take it. This all just my opinion and it also depends if you have the cards and ships that I just named. If not, you could say what you do have so people can help you even more. Hope this was helpful and fly casual!

That's understandable. So what about the switch from Lando to Chewie? Since you're not using Airen, I'm guessing you still gonna want Lando's ability?
Yep i do like lando to try, Chewbacca is my normal go to, thought something different
Your list isn't really built for blocking unless you really know how to fly those X-Wings of yours, so initiative is somewhat negligible. If anything, I'd avoid having it, but that's me. I'll mimic what is said above, but you want either Lt. Blount or Gen. Cracken with Wingman to help alleviate Wes' stress from the R3 droid. Airen with VI is also not a half bad idea either and you could still give Wes a Flechette.
Wingman kicks in before Wes gets the stress from the droid?
