does this actually kill with just mega spike alone?

I ran something like this a couple of months ago, try clean freak to shave a turn off the combo.

Taking in Students is HOTNESS....Straight up HOTNESS. Draw 15....HELLZ YEAH! I think Clean Freak would make this deck a total house. Also maybe Preventing the Curse or some form of R negation to stop Rev's.

so how does the defender loop actually work?

defender and lotm is out

you have two mega spikes in your hand

you play one attacks regardless of its blocked or not

then you play the 2nd one... then use defender and lotm then if it hits you pick up the first one and then you just keep alternating?

OhSteven: yes that is correct. lotm will always give you that one momentum you need to spend on using defender. mega spike is a throw so regardless if they block it, it will always do damage. unless there is another way they have to stop that. all the checks in the deck are 3 or above so you'll never be checking anything below a 3. playing your second mega spike will have a difficulty of 4. so if you do check a 3 it will cost you to commit. but having realm of midnight in there and if it's on the board, you can use the form to not fail the loop at all. basically opening hand can be mega spike, mega spike, lotm, realm of midnight, defender, and two other whatever foundations and you will be set to go on your next turn.

TwoHeadedDragon doesn't have it, which is odd, but here's a link to CSI's page for it.

Basically, it's a 3/5 +1M chaos/order foundation that gives all your checks for Mega Spike +1 :]

MegaGeese: yeah baby! Taking in Students!!!! Totally hot! I think a lot of people over look this card for some reason. I never heard of anyone using it or even talk about it much at all (at least from where I'm around). I remember seeing it way back then, I was like this is awesome stuff to get what you want out of your deck. I never really put it to use until I got this deck together. I wanted to use it in other decks that I want to build for fun too.

Build up foundations like crazy...................Taking in Students....Draw like crazy!!!! OMG all the lovely cards you can choose from....Play an attack....Enhance with Black Belt....OH BOY!!! SPEED DEMON!!!

Yeah that was pretty much one of the ideas I wanted to do for a fun deck!
