Exhausted at headquarters question

By Lord Azrael, in Warhammer 40,000: Conquest - Rules Questions

Hi,

I apologize if this has been brought up, or if it's something I just need to read over all the cards a bit closer to understand, but what difference does it make for a non warlord card to be exhausted at headquarters? (Well, or a Warlord for that matter I guess.)

They automatically right themselves at the end of the round, and the non warlords exhaust when they travel with the warlord to a planet.

Did I miss some "from headquarters" card interactions?

Thanks.

If the warlord was exhausted at HQ prior to commitment he would go to the planet exhausted too.

Units ready at the end of combat rounds at battles at the planets. And at the end of the entire turn during the headquarters phase.

There will of course be cards that interact differently with ready or exhausted units down the road.

There are already some niche interactions, such as:

Some cards require you to exhaust a unique unit under your control. If your Unique cards are in HQ, they can still be used, so it matters if they're ready or not.

Blood Angels Veterans have an Interrupt that allows them to prevent 1 damage IF they are ready, which would matter if someone triggers Atrox Prime and chooses HQ.

Ah gotcha, thought there might have been a card or so I missed or overlooked. Thanks!
