For those of you that missed the fellowship event and want in...

By 7theye, in The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

It always was, will and gonna be like that, nothing new.

acutally the hundred dollars for the whole set isnt too far off. But 90 bucks for just a scenario that will be POD in a few months? LOL come on...

Let's see, a typical playmat (that has half decent art I'd say) costs about $20. Considering that this is a "unique" playmat I'd be happy spending $40 for this (though personally the art could be better).

So that leaves us with $60... Maybe you can justify an alternate art Aragorn to be $10, lord knows most MTG cards are way more expensive.

Ultimately that's about $50 for just one scenario.... which I guess depending on how much you want it is a fair price, but a little too steep for me.

Sorry if this message seemed a bit rambly, but that's how I broke it down in my head :)

Yep theres the ticket! :P

Bought the old forest for about 50 so 40 for barrow downs (which looks more fun to be honest) seems fine.

Plus now that The Road Darkens is out if you have barrow downs you can play 8 saga quests together and in a row.

Just bought one on ebay :D

Let's see... 40 dollars for 1 adventure that will be released in some months on PoD for 15, or Warhammer 40K Conquest core set? Hmmm...

(after all, value and cost are two different things)

:P

B-but my Magic cards sell for so much! You mean the Barrow Dens are not the next Tarmogoyf with which I can rip off other players for my own benefit, game be damned? Prepostorous!

Ok, of course, 100 dollars, that's fine. Shut up and take my money, mr. Seller.

My LotR gaming partner doesn't collect the cards, so he's got an extra scenario pack and alt art Aragorn. If anyone in the US is interested, $30 including shipping. Payment via Paypal.

Nope, that doesn't include the playmat, which is lovely.

Dayum, are you not willing to ship to Chile?

Sorry, international shipping is never worth the hassle and risk.
