So, did the boat sink?

I'm still waiting for Rebel Aces in the UK

There has been no apparent shortage with various amazon stockists.

Quick edit! Euro games have 5 in stock now. I assume correct language on cards:)

I know this is going to sound like I am whining. Because I am.

When the hell is wave 5 getting here?

Seriously?

I wander if the fish in finding Nemo is navigating that boat. you know, the blue one played by Ellen. I think its name was Dori.

You must be new to FFG products. I am pretty sure those of us who have been with them for a while are aware that the boats they use are propelled by rowers. Either that or they manufacture the goods in some country populated by 75% terrorists and the import people have to check every inch of the incoming cargo for bombs, TWICE.

This is just standard operating procedure for FFG.

I think its a bit harsh to claim ffg manufacture stuff next the opium fields of the Taliban.

Obviously the boat is an exact replica of the Argo. The fellows rowing are continually in battle with Ray Harryhousen style skeletons.

I try to use the force to grab those things just out of reach, (like none of you ever tried) but my jedi training has failed me.

Yeah... I, uh, totally never do that...

Posted this elsewhere, I guess I'm going to have to post hit here as well:

I don't think you can particularly blame FFG for this. We're not talking about a GW-size company here, or a company which manufactures and ships it's own product, for that matter. FFG is reliant on a supply chain.

The X-Wing miniatures are manufactured and shipped from the Far East. FFG will request stock to be manufactured, packed and shipped based both on their estimated demand, what they can afford during a particular quarter and what their suppliers reliably manage to produce and deliver. If demand outstrips what the manufacturer can handle, well, short of FFG implementing their own manufacturing process (a hugely expensive and difficult process with it's own problems and time constraints) or switching suppliers (a hugely expensive and difficult process with it's own problems and time constraints), what do you actually expect them to do?

It's absolutely fantastic for FFG that the X-Wing Miniatures game is proving so popular, it's absolutely fantastic for gamers that it's proving so popular, but it's due to that increasing popularity, the evolution of the game itself (and less-than reputable resellers taking advantage of that popularity) that people are finding certain expansions hard to come by.

Such is life, unfortunately - the best advice is don't pay through the nose for anything you want, but buy what you need when you see it become available.

SO I WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN AND FOUND...................

.......................THIS THREAD.

The Transport has been on a boat for over 3 months. Wonder what happened to it?

Is it wrong that I am fine with wave 5 not being available yet? The only thing I want is Experimental Interface but I can live without it.

I would be fine with paying a few extra bucks for AIR shipments. Lol

All the "Just keep swimming" posts earlier in the thread. I think THAT'S actually how the stuff is getting here. A couple guys grabbed a bag or two full of ships, and jumped into the Pacific to swim our models over to us.

No, I think that would be faster than the boat...

Got caught in a tractor beam, got boarded, jettisoned two droids in an escape pod, then got spaced and blown to dust.

waiting for my decimator and the wave 4 units i ordered has made me want to die

I'm still waiting for Rebel Aces in the UK

Rebel Aces are here. I'm in the UK we had a shipment for most stores of 4 air shipped and then a week later we got a full shipment in. If you are struggling to get some try contacting https://www.facebook.com/pages/Games-of-War/162862513753764?fref=ts I know they had some boxes left last time I was in.

Also the delay in waves used to annoy me, but I see it as a blessing now, gives my wallet some time to regain a bit of money ready for the next wave.

Also give the Boat Engine Upgrade.

Roll on Wave 5 hitting the UK, have 1 of each on pre-order, so whip those slaves and get them to row faster !

I wonder if the crew has EBOLA!!!!!

So they are in quarantine.

(come on, some one was going to say it eventually )

or worse, they tried using a Jawa sand crawler to get the shipment across the ocean.

Also give the Boat Engine Upgrade.

Would need to be Engine Booster, since it's more than likely a Huge Ship.
