It's been a bit over 3 weeks since they were put on the boat, Friday will be the end of week 4 . It takes 4-6 weeks for it to make it here once it's been put on the boat.

Wave 5 hasn't been on the boat for NEARLY the time Rebel Aces was..... I think Wave 5 could stay on the boat for 3 more months and it would still seem faster than Rebel Aces!

9/19 was the first report of Wave 5 being on the boat. (the Upcoming page says 10/2 because that's when the Expected By date was changed to Q4)

That estimates landfall and shipping to distributors around the 1st week of November. Hopefully in our hands in the 2nd or 3rd week of November, max.

Honestly, this boat so far hasn't been that slow, however each day feels like forever, as I want my decimator much more then I want some scum, so the wait might simply feel like forever. Though at least, mostly, the Reb Aces are around. ( I have mine ) so I guess that is something.

My boat didn't sink it arrived at gen con with pairs of aces,outriders,decimators.

Its petty, but I'm annoyed by this because several folks in the local area got Wave 5 at GenCon and its frustrating waiting on it while seeing it on the table. I'm generally used to shorter delays between GenCon prereleases and normal releases. I guess next year I'll work harder to get some stuff early.

when are we going to get another release announcement, when the boat arrives and wave 5 is in our hands? I am hoping the next release involves the Tie Advanced fix tease .....

And, for the first time, I appear to be satiated. I actually hope there are no more standard game release announcements until after Scum hits. I don't mind if we hear about the next wave of epic, but I could do with a break. I literally never thought I'd get hit with overload, but with trying to figure out RA, and the bomb that is Scum coming soon..... FFG plz.

Yeah, there are two fellows in my neighborhood flying YT-2400s, because they have a hook-up with someone who went to GenCon. I'm really not all that bothered by it. I'm happy they got those ships early. Do I wish I could run over their YTs with a Decimator... yes, but, I have other things that I can still fly against them.

The thing is that I feel like I've got a decent collection, and I don't think not having the new stuff makes me impotent on the board. (My impotence comes from my lack of flying hours, of late.)

Oh, I agree, it is not a necessity, it just makes me a little sad. I want a Decimator so bad I can taste it, and this is a long wait. I don't really feel like its a power level thing, or that I'm disadvantaged, its just... frustrating.

I've not encountered this before. Generally the products I've gotten myself/seen other folks get early have been group affairs. Like, if a friend had gotten a copy of X-Com early, I'd be all sunshine and snuggles. Seeing shiny ships on the other side, especially one of my favorites makes me more Salt and Seattle Rain.

You're probably right. I pre-ordered on Anazon in June and they just haven't shown up. I work too far away from an FLGS to pop in over a lunch break and I'm on duty this weekend - despite working in the same town as Esdevium Games!

I guess I'll have to resort to "everything comes to he who waits".

Relax, you will get your Wave 5 ships quicker than you can get Wave 1 ships.

I wish wave 5 and Rebel Aces could switch places. Really, FFG just give us the ships! It can't be that hard. Just give the boat rocket engines or something.
