Last week I watched a game where a person controlling a Tantive with a damaged engine chose a maneuver it could not do because of the damaged engine.

Question, since the Tantive could NOT execute the maneuver does the opposing player get to choose the choose the allowed maneuver?

I bring this up because this sounds like it MIGHT fall under the same ruling as choosing a red maneuver while stressed and the opponent being allowed to choose an allowed maneuver.

Any help would be appreciated.
