Making 56 point Dash work

So I've run a variant on 58 point Dash that I really like. I cut out Kyle Katarn and added Nien Nunb. It really worked well. 4 straight greens after PtL makes Dash even more evasive and really helped him escape traps. However, even though Nien helped his maneuvering, there were still a few too many times without an offensive modifier for my liking.

The Dash is built like this:

Dash Rendar (36)

Push the Limit (3)

Heavy Laser Cannon (7)

Nien Nunb (1)

Engine Upgrade (4)

Outrider (5)

Total: 56

So I ended up running him at 56 because I had a 44 pt Corran build to run with him. Now I'm thinking of taking Corran out, giving Dash that 3rd action option back while still keeping Nien Nunb on board for those long greens.

So trying to get that action back, here are some alternatives to Corran

Garven+r2d6+VI

Prototype + Chardan

Or

Cracken

Tarn + R7

Or

Dutch + ICT

Prototype + Chardan

Or

Tycho + Chardan + PtL + Squad Leader

Prototype + Chardan

Do any of these look appealing? I'm liking Dutch, though I think he will have trouble keeping up with Dash, he brings another turret and his ability works at range 1-2 and he doesn't need to attack to pass the action.

Or I could just stick with Corran. He is amazing in his own right and brings a PS 10 Phantom hunter to the table with EU as I have him kitted.

You could try Airen Cracken and Roark with an ion cannon turret for a bit of control and free action shenanigans

Standard Focus Factory Kyle is 31 - would reduce your other support ship to a Bandit, but will be able to support at much longer ranges.

If either Dutch or Cracken can keep up with Dash enough to support him, you're doing something wrong :)

I worried about firepower with Kyle, but in retrospect that is silly. He's no different than Dutch and the Proto brings no more to the table offensively than the Bandit would.

I doubted Cracken could keep up, which is why I preferred Dutch's range. I dunno if Dutch can keep up or not, I'm sure he'll miss a turn or two, but his ability does get to range band two, and I have not felt like running Dash properly meant I had to be flying at Mach 7. Occassionally, yes, but most the the time just arc dodging. I figure I can keep Dutch circling in the middle and Dash on the outer edges much of the time to keep them in range and deal with Dash's speed, but I could be wrong. And Dash sometimes bails to the middle, especially given his ability. I'll have to give it a go I guess.

Are there any other action givers that could fit the role? I can only think of Dutch, Garven, Cracken, Kyle and anyone at PS8+ with Squad Leader.

Lando's 44, but would have the same problems keeping up.
