I REALLY like this build. Incredibly good idea using unpopular ships.

Yes, the "may" on R7-T1 really makes it work. Its a bit on the bulky side though. I can imagine that Horton will get focused down pretty hard, but that's okay. You do also have Wedge with EU. I like that.

It really is too bad that everything here costs so much and Horton doesn't get an EPT.

Has anyone tried this list out for real?

Also: I do think it has enough damage output to at least not be dead against the Falcon. And You can always fire the Flechettes off Horton at the Falcon. Those are decent 3 dice attacks, without a R3 bonus.
