Via some fortune, and a lot of senseless violence, our group has acquired a twin medium laser cannon after stripping a crashed Y-wing.

I'm wondering what we should do with our newfound weapon. We do have 2 hardpoints left on our VCX-100. But we also have a large speeder van we could put it on.

The vans stats are based off the A-A5 speeder truck on page 250. Just with 100 enc capacity instead of 220. Imagine a brown delivery truck with a sliding side door, rear door, and no windows in the back. Basically what bad guys in movies use to kidnap people

We could put the cannon on either of them. We are going to be joining the Rebellion fairly shortly and extra firepower would be nice. But we're not sure where it would be more valuable.

Would it be better to have it on our little "Pedo-van" as a nice Gotcha for Imperial entanglements, or would it be more valuable to put it on our ship? Our ship already has Smuggling Compartments, Reinforced Shield Generator, and a Docking ring on the top of the ship.

Alternately, we could rig the gun to be little turret on our pet Bantha (his name's Greg)

Also, how does upgrading work when you already own the part? Is it just a mechanics check to add it?

Put it on the speeder truck then mesh tap the speeder truck to the VCX-100. Problem solved.

A day's work and the rental cost of a repair bay, I'd say.
