Pages for upgrade cards

By Renen, in X-Wing

Good afternoon Pilots!

I'm getting back into X-Wing and I'm looking for a 'better' way to store all my cards. I got some pages for my different pilots but I'm looking for some to hold my upgrade cards. I found some sheets that were for 'tobacco baseball cards' but they are about 1/16 of an inch to small. Anyone know of a good size to fit into binder pages? Or a similar way to transport the upgrade cards?

Cheers,

Ren

This is what I use for upgrade cards then I have a 3 pocked one for the full sized cards. It's not as weird as I thought it would be keeping them in different binders. I actually quite like it. I would advise against the 3 pocket for the minis, they're too many on a page and are prone to slipping out, hence why I bought this. Not bad for $11.

You can pick up some Business Card pages at Staples or Office Max. That is what I use.

I actually tried the business card pages and they are all right but are too loose and fall out so if you do use those I would invest in a zip binder. However i now use the full sized trading card pages and put the upgrade cards side by side and they fit a lot better. I still invested in a zip binder to be on the safe side tho. Got a nice one from staples it was 30 bucks and came with a built in calculator inside as well as a spot to hold tourney sheets or pages or whatever.

FFG? If you can hear me, please produce a binder sheet that is designed to hold sleeved upgrade cards. This is what I would like for Christmas. Thank you.

oh yeah... and a Hound's Tooth expansion with a Bossk ship card. Thats all. Thanks again.

It's the best solution I've found.

I've found that the 4 and 9 pocket monster binders aren't as slippery as the ultra pro binders - of course they are all side-load pages.

I have one 9 pocket Monster binder that holds every card I take with me (I don't take duplicates, or more than 4 of anything). I put two upgrade cards in each side load slot, everything is also sleeved. The upgrade cards don't move around at all. Of course, Monster binders are far more expensive than the ultra pros.

Not a bad deal for 100 pages. I love that they top load and fit 12 per page. They sit a little loose, but I use a zip binder that keeps them in snug when sealed. I believe these are discontinued too, so grab while you can!

I've been looking at these myself. Can you confirm that they fit the cards with the FFG sleeves on them?

Yellow FFG sleeves will fit in those pockets. I only use them for my damage decks, but they would definitely help these suckers not slide.

Thank you SOOOOOO much for bringing these to my attention! I think I love you Skargoth.

I use the Ultra-Pro 4 Pocket binders for Pilots and Upgrades, compact and plenty of room.

Just ordered 2 boxes of 100 of these on eBay. But the ones I ordered are 2 1/2 x 2 1/4. There are some other sizes on eBay too, like 2 x 2 3/8.

I'm a fan of the 12-pocket sticker pages. There's a sport collectable store sort-of on the way to work that sells them (and the other ultra-pro pages) by the sheet.

Thanks, I ordered 2 boxes from Amazon! I was using regular Ultrapro Platinum 9-pocket pages, and putting the upgrade cards in sideways, side-by-side. However, the cards shoved all the way in were hard to pull out. I also tried the side-loading 9-pocket pages, too, but then the cards all fell out too easily. These sticker pages seem like maybe just what I'm looking for. Btw, I sleeve my upgrade cards with FFG sleeves.
