I played exclusively Rebels up until Wave 4, but then fell in love with Phantoms and Defenders and switched sides. But with Rebel Aces out, I've been switching it all around lately.

I play both but play imperial a lot more often. I'm slowly starting to play rebels more since wave 4. Once the scum hit I can become a full time merc for real.

Mostly Imperials.

When asked if I'd like to play Rebel or Imperial, my typical answer is "yes".

I seriously do not get the tendency to identify with a faction.

Mostly rebels, but I'm anxious for scum. I love the non-uniform style.

I enjoy playing both sides, but i most often play rebs due to my son favoring the Imps. So in a competetive match, I'd have to go with them due to familiarity.

So i will just admit that i play every faction. I am a merc or a fairweather general.

Mostly Rebels. Imperial only if some one else wants to play rebels. I also can't really get into imp vs imp or rebel vs rebel. Now when Scum and villainy turns up that opens up a whole new game in the ball park.

If I have to choose it probably have to be Rebels but not because of rules or abilities but rather because of painting concerns. Imp ships are usually very uniform and grey looking wheras rebels have more colour, individuality and all that nice grime, rust and scratches to give them flavour and character.

I switch here and there, but I'm more Rebel. My favorite ships are Imperial ships though =).

Imperial. All guts, no shields.

Mostly I just like more manoeuvrable ships

I like X-wings, but it feels like you are driving an old truck with no power steering after using interceptors.

Rebels because of the Outrider and the Xwing

I don't really mind which side I play for but if I could only play one it would be rebels.

Rebs. I LOVE turrets!

Imperial. Buy the rebel scum for the cards only.

I tend to be more inclined towards the Empire, but my favorite ship is the Y-Wing, so I play Rebels a fair bit, too.

I play both as often and as equally in order to acquire as much experience and recordable data to make objective-based and unbiased decisions when it comes to reporting, posting and expanding on the strategic aspect of the game. I find it to be imperative to have knowledge of both factions in order to achieve victory.

In casual play, I avoid mirror matches and let my opponent choose first. For most of this past summer, I've been playing Rebels during the Phantom Scourge.

Now that Rebel Aces is out, I've been playing Imperials more often, which is good since I've been wanting to get a lot of practice with three Bounty Hunters.

In every tournament I've played so far, I've played Rebels.

So, like, 80% Rebels, 20% Imperials.

For the Empire, and the glorious shuttle...looking forward to the Shuttle Aces pack release date, soon.

Imperial. Interceptors and Phantoms are awesome ships!! Rebels are cool too; I've enjoyed flying them. But Empire ships are more my style.

I love the X-wing the most and always run Rebellion for tournaments.

Casually I will play the opposite faction of whoever I am playing against for thematic purposes. So while I don't always run Imperials, when I do, I prefer to fly interceptors.

I've stood strong for the Emperor and the New Order.

However, I have not been part of what DagobahDave, above, calls the 'Phantom Scourge'. I've flown mostly bomber-centered lists.

I only play Rebels, because I've never seen anything on the Imperial side that I like.

Also because I love A-wings. They'll pretty much be the only thing I'll fly now that I have Rebel Aces. :3
