Need somewhere to play? Look no further!

The following post contains shameless website promotion; but in my defence, the site I'm advertising is a long-standing play-by-post roleplaying site with EOTE-friendly tools, like a SWR dice roller.

I have been a member of roleplayinggames.net since 2005 (back when I was still in secondary school), a website that has a long tradition of producing outstanding Star Wars campaigns - one, which I played in, lasted for a full seven years before coming to a satisfying and suitably epic close. In the past these games have been of purely WEG and WOTC stock, but since EOTE was released I have managed to convince the webmaster to incorporate a SWR diceroller, so that FFG's system can be used by GMs with the books.

Unfortunately, the site no longer holds as many Star Wars titles as it once did: way back when I joined, there were dozens of games, but now there's barely a handful. In the interest of revitalising the website, and giving everyone here a chance to make solid use of a valuable resource, I'm throwing up this advertisement.

If you've an interest in FFG's Star Wars titles, either as a player or as a GM, but don't have the time or desire to run/play a tabletop campaign, I urge you to set up/join one on roleplayinggames.net. You'll find a lot of experienced and friendly players and GameMasters over there, and the Star Wars section of the site deserves to be thriving, much like it once was - ESPECIALLY now that we have a brand spanking new system to harness.

Good gaming, all.
