what is that cannon's sight supposed to even be aiming at?
It (the "Mang-" Cannon) doesn't say Scum Only because there's no italicized text. It looks like you change (Hit) results to (Crit) results though! Closest I can guess is...
Attack: Attack 1 Ship
When attacking an enemy you
may change your rolled
* results to # results.
Edited by LeoHowlerI am guessing Mangler Cannon, Attack: Range 3, 3 dice, 5 points. You may change one "hit" to a "crit".
Breathes new life into Ten Numb and Kath Scarlet if correct, which makes it unlikely to be faction specific.

Crime! Batman has a car, Human Bullet has a cannon.
anyone have a clue as to what these cards look like ?
thanks for any help

The flechette cannon appears to be functionally identical to the ion cannon except that it causes a stress instead of an ion token.
IE:
If this attack hits, the defender suffers one damage and receives a stress token. Then, cancel all dice results.
If that's true, then the IG-2000 will be the ultimate control ship, as it can equip 2 cannons: Flechette + Ion come to mind.

I remember the flechette cannon being pretty stressful to get shot at with

But Mariner! You can stress and ionize ships with one ship! ![]()
All you do is stick the Tactician onto a B-Wing/E2 of your choice and give them either an ion cannon or ion torpedo while firing at range 2. While tricky to pull off, it could be pretty awful to fall victim to.
I think it's a Mangler Cannon. Probably Scum Only. 7 Points, attack 1 ship, Range 1-2. 3 dice, When attacking change all of your your hit results to a Critical hits. II think It's based on the Mangler Clan's Rail Gun, which does massive damage when it hits, but has 1 less dice to show it doesn't hit much and Range 2 not 3, because it is a slow projectile and easy to dodge. (Kinda like a Reverse Heavy Laser)
no because if it were scum only you would have been able to see the italicized scum or part of that word on the card that reads Mang_ Cann_ the same way everyone saw Y-wing on Bomb Loadout which became Y-wing only.

or put R3-A2 on a Y-wing with Ion cannon turret and just keep them in arc, but that is an options is only for Rebels. The Tactician and Ion cannon (or ion torpedo with slave 1 title) is the only option for the Imperial and S&V. Only thing I've learned (from trying Horton + Ion Cannon) is that it is hard to keep your targets in a range 2 sweet spot. If you can pull it off it is glorious, but if they close within range one or are out at range 3 then you don't get the combination. There you will have to rely on a Y-wing or bomber with flechete torpedoes for back up.
Though there is probably a ratio of 3 Ion ships to 2 stress ships if you want to get the most because once you stress a ship you just have to keep it ionized to keep it under control. If you can have 3 ion ships if you got 2 of them as stress givers then it would be good. Though the nice thing with the new secondary weapons such as Ion Pulse and Flechete cannons there is more options to put stress control or ion control or both.
okay back to homework, the Gi bill doesn't pay me to fail classes ![]()

If it ends up behaving like this, I would probably superglue it to Vessery.
I agree, but I'll bet it's scum only, since the Mangler Clan would count as such.
It isn't Scum only, we can see that much of the card. ![]()
but in order to make the combo work you need to fire both of them at the same turn. That is why even though I love stress ion builds you don't see them as much because it requires 2 ships that are upgraded to control a single ship.

At regionals, I lost a modified win to a list with 2 Y wings and 2 HWKs, both with Ion Turrets and Stress Upgrades. It was definitely the most frustrating game I've played in quite a while.
My friends banned me from Y-wing swarming as it does make for a boring game (yes, your defender is ionized again... 4th turn in a row...) Is effective though.

I would tell them to ditch the point heavy defenders and fly more interceptors or tie fighters. Ion cannons can only effect 1 ship per turn. Solution is to run more ships than Ion tokens.
Or
You could pull a big ship to soak up some Ion tokens, as they take 2. Bottom line if I Ionized your entire squadron, you didn't bring enough ships (and I'm finding the situation hilarious
).
However if you are getting board with winning with the same squadron builds then go ahead and mix it up. I understand that and quit a falcon build after a win streak. However if it is legal within the rules then your squadron choice should depend on what you choose, not what your opponent choose because they will only choose squadrons that give them the easy win if it was always up to them. ![]()
Oh I mix my ships up quite a lot. Like I said, i got essentially banned from Y-wing swarming lol.

I have used these. They are awful. To your opponent.

We have yet to see IG-88 a-c's abilities. One of them might be the ability to fire both of the cannons on the IG-2000 in the combat phase. Add the title and every IG-2000 can.
I think firing two cannons could be just a wee bit over powered.

Fire all of your guns at once and explode into spaaace!

Perhaps it will be: if you perform an attack with a secondary weapon and miss, you may immediately perform another secondary attack. You cannot perform any other attacks this round.
