The flechette cannon appears to be functionally identical to the ion cannon except that it causes a stress instead of an ion token.
IE:
If this attack hits, the defender suffers one damage and receives a stress token. Then, cancel all dice results.

If it is that it's gunna be fun to mess with people.

Good bet is something close. If you compare the partial text to Ion Cannon, it's almost identical.
I don't see it being that effective on a heavy scyk fighter but it'll be good on ig 88.
Dealing stress is a decent control tactic that'll be interesting to use and fly against.
The Man cannon is probably Mandalorian cannon.
Mandalorian autocannon... my old firespray had a pair of those... (ok so it was the trandoshan gun you got off of kashyyyk that made the dakkadakkadakka sound) - galaxies pilots know the ones.

I don't think it's "Mandalorian". The word is too long for the position it's on the card for the font size they used. The letter that's partially covered looks like a G to me. Comparing the position of the top word "Mang* to the bottom word "Cannon" it looks like there are 3 letters covered in the top word. My guess it's called a Mangler Cannon. As to what it does game wise? Your guess is as good as mine.
It really looks like "Mang--" Cannon. I'd guess"Mangler" Cannon.
Mango cannon? Dashed space pirates and their love of citric fruits!
Ok next we will see the banana cannon ![]()
I think it's a Mangler Cannon. Probably Scum Only. 7 Points, attack 1 ship, Range 1-2. 3 dice, When attacking change all of your your hit results to a Critical hits. II think It's based on the Mangler Clan's Rail Gun, which does massive damage when it hits, but has 1 less dice to show it doesn't hit much and Range 2 not 3, because it is a slow projectile and easy to dodge. (Kinda like a Reverse Heavy Laser)
Edited by eagletsi111Hey kid, you feed this thing the wrong coordinates and hyperspace your way through a mango, that would end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?
What is the airspeed of a mango being fired out of a cannon by swallows? Are they austrian of african swallows? more improtantly, how many red dice?

If it ends up behaving like this, I would probably superglue it to Vessery.

I agree, but I'll bet it's scum only, since the Mangler Clan would count as such.
I imagine it would be scum due to the weapon being illegal due to the star wars geneva convention or something. Still, we'll see.

LOL. According to the history, I would say scum, because it had many malfuntions and only worked half the time, sometimes even blowing up and causing damage. Rebels and Empire wouldn't use such an unreliable weapon like that on their ships. But like you said, "Well see!"

Now i understand why they called him Mango Jango.
Thanks for all the discussion
The Flechette Cannon seems to be available to all factions
I'm lead to believe the other card is a Magna Cannon
not seen the rules yet

no because if it were scum only you would have been able to see the italicized scum or part of that word on the card that reads Mang_ Cann_ the same way everyone saw Y-wing on Bomb Loadout which became Y-wing only.

Man Cannon... you mean the Human Bullet!
