This thread is kinda a shameless veil for me to say I really want an Assault Gunboat and TIE Avenger, but what ships do other people want?

I've seen Gunboats on the list of ships people want since like wave 3, so you aren't alone there.
I want the YT-2000. Loved XWA, and would love even more to finish out the YT-series in my collection.

Edit: Now I see this said most wanted small ship. Otana isn't really small

But! I can't really think of any other small ships I really, really want, so YT-2000 it is!

I always liked the Otana.

I'd like to see a Sentinel too. And a Stormtrooper transport.

Definitely the Mist Hunter. I think it has a great look to it, and it ought to support a crew member, which is uncommon for the small base ships.

I expect Mist Hunter and Punishing One will both be released at some point as Scum ships.

Mist Hunter and Punishing One are at the top of my list. I think it would be cool to see a modified Shuttle for Jodo Cast. The problem with some of these bounty hunter ships is that they were only used by one person that we know of. The IG-2000 was lucky to have 4 "different" pilots, and I'm wondering how they are going to stretch the StarViper. While I'm sure I'll love whatever they throw at us, I have no idea what more is to come for Scum that is in "wide use".

For all the Gunboat fans, what would it bring to the game beyond what the TIE Bomber does? I feel like munitions are a niche that isn't even used much with the Bomber. No trolling, genuinely curious. I feel like I'm missing something.

For the gunboat it would have a cannon and missile / twin missile option, additionally i'd give it 4 hull 3 shields.

For fluff purposes it's a ship that was around pre yavin with a hyperdrive!

Thanks for the response. Sounds more like a TIE Defender than a TIE Bomber now to me. I just find it hard to justify jumping on the bandwagon for a ship that basically "already exists". I'm all for desire by nostalgia, it's a perfectly acceptable answer. Hell, I want to see Hound's Tooth, but I know it'll never happen. It would have to be huge and doesn't have the popularity to sell a ship that expensive.

Perhaps Built-in ordnance?

The gunboat is truly nothing like a defender.

It would handle inbetween like a Y-wing or B-wing, it'll therefore be cheaper. It would also only have 2 firepower.

This is making it sound more like a tie advanced with a cannon upgrade and more ordnance I know...

If I've got the pulse of the community right, I think a working TIE Advanced is the most wanted small ship. Lol.

That would be the Tie Avenger, the TIE Fighter (game) variant of the T/A

A TIE Avenger title or modification would be the easiest way to improve the TIE Advanced and knock a ship off the wish list.

Skipray Blastboat.

It had three forward medium Ion Cannons. I would like to see it be the first ship with an Ion primary and a turret slot for a blaster secondary.

3 blue attack, with the ability to assign two Ion tokens to a target with a single attack that hits. I would make it 3/2/4/3, with crew, turret, and missile slots.

I want to see the Cloakshape w/ maneuvering tail for Scum.

Also I really want to see the Vong show up! yorik-et or coralskipper's would be awesome to play with there ability to remove shelding with its dovin basal supergravity field!!!

Thats a shame an enemy that could out dual Jedi becouse they were so anti Force they could not be sensed and some of the most epic and heartbreaking stories to come out of the EU... We also get the Clawcraft around then also so think if this were to happen you would probaly get a Commander Jagged Fel Card which would be Awesome!!!!

Missile Boat, followed by assault gunboat and avenger then I can rest in peace.

There should be a munitions fix card costing zero where each munition piece has its cost reduced by one that would help a little bit.
