I wish the article had more pictures. From what I can gather from the picture here is looks to be the same size as the BattleTech (Virtual World) Tesla II pods.

I love overly complex arcade machines like that one! Sadly I doubt I will ever get to try it out as I higly doubt even one machine will reach the shores of Sweden.

Nope. It's looks like a slightly reworked version of the last Star Wars Arcade game.

It looks awesome, very good looking game. But it's just another **** rail shooter. It doesn't look that much different from the Rogue Leader games on the old Gamecube.

My buddy had the old Star Wars Death Star arcade game in his basement, still works too.

EA is also producing Star Wars Battlefront.

I actually saw a pod racing game with Anakin's pods.

Looks pretty **** amazing.

However I'm not sure how to feel about the end of the video. The TIE Fighter lasers are coming from the left and right sides of the cockpit.

Hopefully that'll be addressed before being sent out to stores.

There are still arcades?

I hope this is a sign that they might make some platform or pc version of this. I'd be more than happy if they just took the old X-wing vs Tie Fighter and redid the graphics to release. Make it for the X-box One and I'd buy it for $100.

Arcades are still a big deal in Japan which I assume is the target market for this game, since PC gaming is almost non-existent.

Battletech Virtual Pods were too awesome. If only they made this networked multiplayer...

In Columbus, we have a Bar-cade called 16 Bit. All of the games are free and you get to drink while playing. It's a blast.
