This is going to be a really REALLY dumb question, but what are "Elite" units?

Several different cards state "Elite" units but I do not see the term in either booklet nor as a description on the cards...Am I overlooking something? Does this mean any unit that is unique or one of the first 8 cards in the Warlord's set?

Had a game (1st of many....yay!) last night and this came up several times.

Any card with the Elite trait. Always 5+ cost units.

For example:

I thought that was the case....just haven't played with those specific cards yet.
