I need your EU knowledge...

By Maelora, in General Discussion

Good suggestions everyone, thanks. I actually like Asokha, though one of the players is already playing a togruta.

I might actually use her as an example of a Jedi who isn't a complete ****, one who might be sympathetic to their cause.

Though I think in Clone Wars she was close to Ben, so she might well be Alliance now and helping him train their Force Adepts. Though possibly she stayed behind when he defected so the Order still had a voice of reason?

Something that I am planning, Darth Zannah (Darth Bane's Apprentice) falls out of the EU after taking on her own apprentice. The players find a holocron which contains a map leading to her tomb, where they will discover no one is in it and never has been. Darth Zannah is in stasis, and has been for 1000 years. The players will mess up, and awaken her........

Ehhh, your plot hook works well, but she's already bigger name due to her role (as the second of the Banite Sith lineage, and the one who defeated Darth Bane no less) than some of the choices that have come up, and I believe that " obscurity " was a plus in Maelora's eyes...

So, you want to use the Jedi as the opponents and basically need characters that at the same time are Jedi but aren't really Jedi, so to speak.

Jorus Cbaoth always struck me as the archetype of the kind of Jedi nemesis you want: Full of himself, holier-than-thou, and walking a dangerous path.

His clone is all that, but he's been marooned on a planet and has made himself the natives' ruler. Being a marooned clone has resulted in a mental disorder (Ben Gunn?) that is even closer to the dark side, but as I understand you want to rework how morality works, he could be on the side of the dissidents even though he is utterly mad. He is the character that brought us Battle Meditation and the Force Scream (Unleash variant?)

Empatojajos Brand is also a ruler of his people, the Ganathans, and was shot down in his starfighter by Anakin Skywalker - but survived, as sort of the poster boy for cyborg Jedi with a heart of gold. He is capable of great sacrifice for a just cause. I love his looks, so if he and his background can be made to work in your campaign, do it.

Look into Coran Horns family. Halcyon Horn.

Admiral Dala and her superstar destroyer. She was Tarkin's lover at one point. Could be fun.
