With today's big spoiler article, I made big updates to the catalogue for the Scum and Villainy faction! It is still pretty bare-bones, but at least it gives you a way to start playing around. I also added the Bomb Loadout to the Rebel Catalogue and corrected a small typo in the Imperial Catalogue. The files also have everything from Rebel Aces and Wave 5. As usual, unreleased cards (at the present, everything from Wave 5 and Wave 6) are marked with a dagger symbol (†).
I also added a "Placeholder Y-Wing Pilot" to the S&V Catalogue - it is just there so you can explore the Salvaged Astromech upgrades (because with no Scum Y-Wings spoiled, there would be no way to see or select the Salvaged Astromechs without it). It is basically just a clone of the Gold Squadron Pilot with a Salvaged Astromech instead of the standard Astromech. As a not-real card, it is marked with a double dagger symbol (††). Obviously, the S&V stuff is seriously subject to change. As more spoilers are revealed, I may have to make changes that invalidate your S&V lists. Usually this happens because I change the way a group of upgrades is organized. It won't cause a crash or anything, but you'll get a message when you load the list and the offending items will disappear - it just means you'll have to re-add the appropriate pilot or upgrade. After you do that, the message won't pop up again for that list.
This version is fully up to date with all current releases including both Rebel Huge ships and Wave 4, all Rebel Aces content, all Wave 5 content, and all Wave 6 content released so far.
If you've already been getting my updates for BattleScribe, you can just update your data in the program/app. If you haven't, you can get the data file here:
Some background info:
What is BattleScribe?
BattleScribe is a generic list-building program (or an app for Android or IOS). You can get the PC or Mac version free at www.battlescribe.net (there are also links to download the mobile versions - also free - from the appropriate app stores).
Once you have the program, the file I posted lets you build X-Wing lists in BattleScribe. At the same website (www.battlescribedata.appspot.com) you can get files for lots of other games like Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy, War Machine, etc. BattleScribe is great if you play multiple war games because you can use one program to manage all your lists in one format. Plus, it is easy to use and the apps don't require you to be online, so you can edit lists anytime, anywhere. It is easy to transfer lists between desktop/app, send lists to friends, or export in various formats. It has been my favorite list builder for a long time and I am excited to be keeping the X-Wing files updated.
You can read more about my updates in these threads:
Known weird things:
- Epic Points - Epic points are set to 5 and that currently can't be adjusted. You can spend more than that, but the program will note that your list has too many Epic Ships.
