I played with a newbie friend against Cthulhu Dagon and Hydra. She'd one the first two games she played with me against Yig and Shub. I wanted her to appreciate the deadliness of the game, so I set up that triple deadly team with Dunwich, Innsmouth, Bgotw, and KiY. Oh, did I mention we drew Wendy and Michael? So we had one 2 sanity character, and a 3 san 3 stam character. Yey Cthulhu ;'D we also drew Min Tih Phan and William Yorrick.

Allies drawn. +2 fight, +2 will, sanity dmg prevention, and Professor Rice are discarded ;'D yey, we're off to a good start, losing our four best potential allies.

The rest of the game was a sad sad sad attempt to arm ourselves for final battle. Cthulhu beat us with 12 and 3/4th doom tokens ;'D
