A variation on the 1-large, 2-small Rebel builds, using the YT-2400.

By Omnitron310, in X-Wing

Hey guys. So I was with some friends, and we were discussing the upcoming YT-2400. They were saying that it seemed a bit underwhelming, and we were debating how it would actually be used and which of its pilots were the best. Obviously, the Outrider+HLC combo is potent, but it's also expensive and therefore won't fit into all lists. I decided to try and make a good list without it, and also using Eaden Vrill; the best named pilot in my opinion:

Eaden Vrill (32)

Recon Specialist (3)

(35)

Keyan Farlander (29)

B-Wing/E2 (1)

Tactician (2)

Advanced Sensors (3)

Push the Limit (3)

(38)

"Hobbie" Klivian (25)

R3-A2 (2)

(27)

Total: (100)

The idea should be pretty obvious. Keyan and Hobbie run around stressing the enemy while not caring about stress themselves, and that pushes Eaden up into Falcon territory with 3 attack dice, yet at a reduced cost. Let me know what you think :)

This sounds fun at least

It's ok, but I don't like that Eaden is basically paying the bring him level with everyone else rather than getting a little extra kick. I really don't see a point in using him over Leebo or even the base PS2 guy.

Weird... I built an almost identical list on squadron builder last Friday night... Creepy...

Any who. I saw this as a eventual counter to what might soon be a interceptor heavy meta thanks to that odd hint in the covenant interview. If they are already using ptl to do their tricks, I have half the work done. Other wise though I feel like I have to do to much for not enough gain. Wanted to try it tonight but we started the hoth campaign:P
