I have to say that I am very happy with Rebel Aces. It has given me much more to work with when it comes to building Rebel lists and theorycrafting.

As of right now, I think it is safe to say that a Refitted Green Squadron Pilot is one the most efficient ships in the game right now. And here's why:

-Clocks in at 17 points with the refit.

-A-Wing dial is the most maneuverable dial in the game.

-In addition to their dial, they are agile at 3 agility and durable with two shields to chew through before risking any crits.

-Access to EPTs as a generic pilot.

-PS3 will be having it shoot before Rookies, Academy TIEs, Tala Squadron Pilots, OGPs and the ever growingly popular Delta Squadron Pilots.

Again, all your for 17 points!

Throw on an EPT such as PtL and you've already made into a deadly interceptor that will be able to take high-risk double actions and survive to do it all again next turn. Put on an A-Wing Test Pilot title on it, and now you can take Predator. Here is how I plan on running them as my new flankers and interceptors in support of a main force:

At 23 points, I get a ship that can take two actions and still reroll 1 attack die every turn. You can always ditch Predator altogether if space is absolutely needed because you can still action + TL for rerolls, but having that reroll on a 2 attack ship makes its offensive value more consistent as we've seen through Predator and Howlrunner's effect.

Hell, you can run 5 Green Squadron Pilots with PtL, you can run Jake Farrell + 3 decked out GSPs, you can run a fully loaded Corran Horn and 2 decked out GSPs, you can run Fat Han with 2 PtL GSPs, you can run 5 Tala Squadron Pilots and 2 PtL GSPs - All thanks to the Chaardan Refit.

I'm just trying to prove the generic A-Wing's potential on the field. When I tested them over these past few days, I've had great results. Even during the games I've had with them when I lost. I say give the GSPs a try instead of Z's, Rookies or Blues, you won't be disappointed.

I've been running a four ship force, two with the above build and two with proton rockets and Jake Farrell. I have been swapping Predator with Outmaneuver, just makes me try even harder to get behind them.

GSP's are even more dangerous with Jan giving them a Buff. I've been using a list with a Fat Jan, two greens as above and the remaining points go into a Z-95 that just makes a nuisance of itself.

Four ships, all buffed out with cards, is pretty much something you can only usefully do with the A-Wing.

You could also trade out predator for Expert Handling to give them barrel rolls

Look up Sables A-wing testing ground for some **** sweet A-wing combos

I would love to run Green Squadron + Predator/Outmaneuver + Refit x 5, if I had the cards and models. Would it be the strongest ship in the world? No. But it should be a heckuva lotta fun. Certainly better than 5 Avengers.

I find that PTL on an A-Wing has too much overlap with Predator, as TL often presents itself as an good action with PTL.

Man I wish the A's had Barrel Roll.

I've had better damage potential with either one of PTL or Predator, but combined with Opportunist or Outmaneuver.

What I meant was 5 GSPs with Push the Limits fit, should've clarified that one earlier!

Have the A's buzzing around while the Dagger Ion's some poor sucker into a 1 straight for the A-Wings to flank and tear apart!

I also like the idea of the list but with Jan or Kyle Katarn as a support ship passing out focus tokens or boosting their attack value. I'm just really excited for A-Wings!

I feel like that's my guess, in order.

I've actually been considering 3 Greens with PtL and Veteran Instincts flying alongside Gemmer with PtL.This would give you PS5 across the board, which is awesome, with 14 points to work with when you Chaardan everybody. This gives you points to either throw in a cheap Z-95, or start throwing around upgrades for all your fighters. The extra ship is probably the smarter option in this case, but it's just so hard to say no to Stealth devices. :3

You could also try out Marksmanship on an A-Wing with PtL/ Give it a Super-Focus from Marks and have another action ready. I like Outmaneuver as well, but I feel like you'll be within arc most of the time, so why not just re-roll your die? And I think running Opportunist would only do well with Predator, since doubling up on stress with Ptl and Opp. is never a good thing, even on an A-Wing dial.

Upgrading one to Jake is very usefull and will be my list when the set finally arrives at my LGS.

Yeah, I've only combined Opportunist with Predator and not PTL.

Opportunist with Predator works well, but it's also quite expensive, for the few times you use it. You only throw 4 dice with an A-Wing at them once, before they start hogging that focus (but then you have also forced them to make the hard decision to maybe give up on TL, and maybe even keep the focus, instead of using it on the attack).

I can't wait to try out Outmaneuver with Predator tonight. I never joust and I always hone in from multiple angles, while turtling up with the one in arc. Looking at my previous games, Outmaneuver would have been useful more often than Opportunist. But then I'm not taking into account the har decisions I'm forcing my opponent to make via Opportunist.

I'll just have to try it out and get a feel for it.

Sea of Green FTW though. Such fun.
