Quest Tracker

By Diacide, in The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

Hey all!

I am fairly new to the community and I was wondering if anyone else uses the quest tracker here on the FFG website. I only bring it up because it seems that a lot of those stats are pretty low; scenarios finished, number of games with any amount of players, etc. I also noticed that the most played heroes, percentage wise, come in the base set. But, I suppose that is to be expected.

I'm using it, but I'm still an apprentice in the art, so I keep on playing the earlier quests and try different decks, so that I can test better different combo. I'll enter in the next days my results for all the Shadows of Mirkwood AP and the first Scenario of Khazad-Dum

i have played this game since release and can say i have never used it once..but then again i never keep score :P

on the flip side, I have played the game since Khazad-dum, and I have recorded about 90% of the games I've ever played on that thing :) I don't care for counting rounds though, so I use the old scoring system... don't go comparing scores with me, won't be valid. Mostly I use it for the narrative, fun to go back and read through old moments.

I only enter victories in the quest tracker and not all of them... mostly as a way of keeping track of what quests I have or haven't completed, and whether solo or two handed (Three or Four handed would take up too much table space and time)... I didn't realise there was a quest tracker till after I had been playing for quite a while and I still forget to take note of my score before resetting to play again.

I used before but stop doing that for years already… not attractive for me at all anymore

Ah. Thanks all. :)

I'm like grandspleen. I log all my quest attempts (except for the first maybe 20 or 30 before I discovered the quest log and started using it) and use the old scoring system (so don't count rounds) so like Grandspleen don't bother comparing to my scores unless you use the old scoring system as well. I also mainly use it to record great wins/losses, new trials for heroes/cards etc as well as games I've actually played with others etc

I'm using it for just my highscores. So always replacing old highscores by new ones. Find it useful to compare actual games with how I did before. Finally it gives me an impression which heroes I use in my deck that made these highscores. Also trying to get highscores with all heroes .... so I frequently build decks for my little used heroes. Finally I see which hero git me the most highscore (Pippin Lo) which is only because I fancy lore a lot and play a lot of multiplayer which gives you many more deck options.
