Rule question re: Marie and Patrice's Personal Story Pass conditions

By Solan, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Marie puts a Clue token on her Personal Story card each time she draws a Spell, and passes when she has two Clue tokens on her card. Patrice is exactly the same, except with Unique Items. Now is it sufficent to for Marie to go shopping and buy two spells in successive turns, or Patrice to do the same with Unique Items? I would think so, but I want to be absolutely certain, since both Pass benefits are VERY beneficial.

I'd assume so. It's drawing. However I expect the term drawing only means once per draw (otherwise it would be *too* easy. This should probably be posted in the FAQ just to get an official clarification.
