I just wanted to air out a couple of supply line problems that are messing with me, just to help get it off my chest.

I live in Spain, but I'm English, so I buy the fantasy flight product, not the edge translation. Up until now I've bought everything through amazon Spain which has been good until now. Pre ordering the transport, tantive and all of wave four, all of which were shipped pretty much on launch date. But my rebel aces pre order which was placed way back at the beginning of June is proving troublesome. Amazon don't know when they will get any in. EsdeviumGames, the distributor for Europe says it will be a few more weeks before they get more out the door.

I did a short investigation using the web and twitter and it does seem that while the US got a healthy supply of boxes it appears that Europe was more scarce, I've seen on twitter various stores saying they had rebel aces in, but confirming that they only had four boxes or so.

There are retailers with stock but I've ordered from them in the past and find their delivery times too long(two weeks plus). That is my sad tale of my wait for rebel aces. Thank you for your time lol.

On a related note I wish fantasy flight was a little more transparent regarding he release schedule. At the begging of September some retailers were listing estmated dates for wave 5 for the begining of October, now changed to the end of November. So I spent all month waiting for the great fantasy flight wallet heist when my pre orders completed for rebel aces and wave 5. But now I don't have anything, and if I'd have known at the begining of the month I would have ordered over ships to fill out my collection.

Tbh I doubt Africa has it any easier getting rebel aces atm.

The dates of release are projected based upon other similar products but the unknown always comes in. In the past FFG has commented that they held up production on models because they were not up to snuff so I can wait for a really good product instead of a rushed alright one.

You are not the first person to comment on Europe's X-wing Woes. FFG most likely orders in batch sizes, but I don't know how they break that up for region distribution.

They will get there. When is a matter of contention.

With respect to delays I have no problem whatsoever. I'm just saying pick a date or even a week and if you can't make it give us a quick update. If they were transparent and explained that there were problems in production I reckon 95% of people would be cool with it. Otherwise I can see us getting burned out on these long cycles between announcement and release. Also I suspect that wave 5 got pushed back so there wasn't such a long gap without releases until wave 6 came out. The production quality on wave 5 can't be the excuse because they've already sold them at gencon.

I ordered Rebel aces. Delivered to my door yesterday along with other expansions. Get home and...stolen off my porch : /

I do agree. Pre orders withouth a real release date are annoying to say the least.

Shipments can be delayed for reasons out of FFG's control. Sometimes they sit in port, or container ships get diverted or delayed for a variety of reasons. I don't think FFG knows precisely when their stock will be widely available until a week or so before it actually is. You just have to get used to it.

Yeah it's frustrating having to wait for pretty things but we're all in the same boat (just like the aces - aha-ha...). The site I get my online orders from (who also deliver to Europe btw) are really good at giving you all the info they know (which can be a little thin on the ground frustratingly). They're called "gamessesh" and the main guy Ben is super helpful (he's responded personally to every enquiry I've made, and from reviews it's the same for others who've contacted him). The last I heard each UK retailer who was lucky enough to get some aces only got 4 boxes (but are due to get a bigger supply in a couple of weeks)... I hope you get your hands on some soon (as an imp I'm less concerned with the aces but chomping at the bit for the decimator...)
