I just made an ALL deck, but I've finally run into a problem that my fire and air deck never reached, Owlface blowing me up all over the place... I guess I was spoiled by Blinding Rage and Makai, but is there an ALL version that is somewhat similiar? or will I just have to take it in stride... =(

also is there any foundation or action that makes an attack unblockable? I ask because I was reading a card that said this attack can not be made unblockable... thanks!

yes it does, unfortunately, All and Void's only answer to Olcadan's in standard is an UR from Soul Calibur 4 Set 1, Controller of Souls.

Blind Loyalty...though it's probably not what you're looking. Legacy has all the unblockable support, now that there's hardly any unblockables in the game we have cards like Irresistable. Where was that card when dirty pool was around, lol?

It's ability is insane in that it can negate any asset ability on a symbol that can already negate any foundation ability (via Chester's Backing). However, when there is a card in the game that every symbol can run and controls the board, then any symbol that cannot run an answer to that symbol is automatically weaker then the symbols that can. Making All and Voids only answer an UR was rough.

While we're on the subject there are 4, 2-check attacks that can make themself unblockable in today's standard: Flashing Buckler, Neo Deadly Rave, Vermillion Moon (if played as a reversal), and Mukin Kyaku (if played by Karin).

Depending on your character's other symbols, you may able to splash for The Red Lotus of the Sun or Oral Dead.

Or you could splash those wonderful 1/6s Makai High Noble and Blinding Rage... All/Fire is a decent spread.

Other counters that work against the owl not being mentoned here:

BRT (hax it before it hits the table, has other uses to be sure)

Air Stampede (Destroy it outright)

Begin Anew (the death enhance)

Still Dragon (destory it outright)

Yoga Adept (discard it from the card pool before it hits play.)

So yea, all has plenty of useable answers to the owl.

Try also Temporary Being and/or a well timed Anti-social. There is also Hidden Beastly Powers. All three of these play around Olcadon's.

I caved and bought 2 controller's thats all coolstuff had... I will try to get a 3rd one this weekend from trading and more when i travel for a fun tourny... and I am playing sakura, all controll at the moment with chesters and BRT, to help some stuff... at the moment I am trying to find a kill card, but all I really see for ALL is neo raging storm... but how can I be sure they wont block it if I powerful it to 30+ dmg? just BRT their blocks? once a block fails it goes through right? they dont have a chance to block again due to BRTs after effects. (im not sure if the "end phase" part also implies to ending a block chance, any clarification would help! thanks =) )

Yeah they can't try and block again; the attack goes through. The defensive player doesn't have a turn to end, ergo the failing doesn't affect their "turn".

Air Stampede ain't horrible. Throw it, get blocked, Reppa, maybe get blocked, throw another, probably not get blocked :]

hm.. interesting, i really hope I dont run into karins with that.. but that attack doesnt look all too vicious to be honest...
