Hummingbird Squadron

By Englishpete, in X-Wing

I am going to try this out over the weekend. I was aiming for super maneuver list with the rebels. I am looking for the ultimate flying challenge with highly agile fighters who use a great deal of flying skill to get the job done.

Obviously turrets will be the usual pain in the ass, but I'd sooner have fun flying than just trying to beat Fat Han all the time.

(I named it Hummingbird after the most maneuverable bird in nature)

So give me your thoughts.

Hummingbird Sqd. works well as a name for this, cuz not only are they maneuverable, but with a combined 6 hull and 7 shields, they are all dainty like a hummingbird too!

You could remove SD to get other upgrades.

The very first thing I would do to this list is move the GSP's stealth device to Jake, as he is the far more important ship and will want it more. The next thing I would do is try to fit in more firepower, but there's really nothing to drop to increase the firepower at all if you still want an agile build like this.

I like the list, and will probably try it out myself Sunday

I put the SD on the Green as Jake has a higher PS, moving later and the barrel roll, boost option. I was looking to gain balance on general overall survivability.

I too would leave it on the Green as he's obviously a lesser priority target, meaning there's a chance he might live through to the late game with his SD still intact, which could prove frustrating for your opponent. Better to spread things out across ships.
