Edit: might as well ask here as anywhere, I'm curious as to the state of the uk tourny scene...is there even one?

I know the Bad Dice crew will be doing something with x wing at their upcoming warhammer weekend. But I haven't seen to much else going on.

X wing is the first game I'm tempted to do some tourny stuff with (after a bajillion years of warhammer and never even being tempted).

I'm a irregular gambit player! I get over to the royal George when the wife isn't working. Might do the warlords tourney in November but my bash at conquest was a complete and utter disaster!

I propose a motion that the UK government to subsidise the x-wing community moving closer together to more easily facilitate meeting up for games.

I'm in Bury, lancs. We've got a club that meets on a Friday evening 5-9pm just across the car park from the "world famous" market (5 min walk from the bus/tram station). there's about 8 of us who play X wing, amongst other games.

This summer was blessedly milder than last year's; one can stand 100+ degree heat for only so long. I'm definitely still looking forward to the fall.
