Hi I'm brand new to this forum and quite new to xwing being one of the latest crop of 40k refugees. I have always been a painter as part of my hobby and after seeing some of the awesome repaints on this forum I thought I would have a crack at one of these small scale beauties myself.
I really likes the card art for whisper so thought I would have a go at a phantom with cloaking device.

Many purple space bugs died, to bring us this colored windshield...
Awesome job man-I agree the 40k background really does help with getting creative with the ships that for the lazier of us - just rely on the std paintjob (which is perfectly acceptable btw-no issues with them straight from a manufacturer)
