There has been a confirmation from FFG that it will NOT be legal at Worlds, and based on the rulings in the current FAQ, which say ships are legal immediately upon release, it would appear they will not be on shelves before World's which is the second weekend in November, I believe.

it was indeed on the boat on 9/17 however the update made today on 10/2 claims Q4 instead of the Q3 that the 9/17 update reported

Maybe they got bad info... Were told the shipment was on the boat when in fact it wasn't. But if they didn't really get put on the boat until today, then we're looking at end of Nov early Dc before 5 gets here and next year for 6.

Sometimes you can have too much information. At times you wish FFG wouldn't put the miniature status up, then at times you do when it stops you buying that £30 x wing because a shipment is on the way. (and no I didn't buy one, but I know a company that tried selling one and won't be buying anything from them again. :-)

Note, Rebel aces has disappeared from status board just as European shops start to get it it in stock.

And a lot of shops in UK have an expected arrival date as back of October for wave 5. But who knows.

Maintaining Q3 as the expected date would have been rather funny.

I've been playing games for a long time and I find it remarkable that Fantasy Flight even gives "boat" information on pending releases.

I'm fine waiting on the outrider and the Decimator. The game has enough fun content as it is and there's plenty to speculate about. Besides, I still need to come up with some reliable counters to the Dash Cannon before it gets here and contorts all the tournaments.

YUP! That is one of the cool things about STAW. Once it is wrong it stays wrong... but at least it is not the type of wrong that is overly annoying. X-WING is certainly a min-max card game now and that is kind of meh for me. It is a good thing that I play solo so I do not have to deal with stupid people and their meta-crap-card-fuss-stuff.
