Does anyone know what scale the ships of Armada are modeled in?

No, not really.

For one we can't measure them and compare them to how big they are supposed to be. Plus that we know that they're not going with a single scale for Armada like they do X-Wing. They are using a sliding scale for this game.

If we don't know an exact scale, do we at least know if the capital ships are similar in size to the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Starship Battles capital ships?

I've got a ton of those and would love to be able to cross-purpose some Armada ships to fill out those fleet engagements.

I've been using my large number of Interdictor Cruisers as Victory Class SDs. It would be nice to add the real thing to the fleet.

Any answers would be appreciated.

My estimate from seeing the ships at GenCon and worlds: the VSD is maybe 4 inches in length, perhaps a bit smaller (I'm pretty sure there's someone out there much better at visual estimation than I am, please correct me). The ships aren't all in the same scale though, there will be a sliding scale.

I *hope* there's a sliding scale. By the looks of it, I'm somewhat fearing an arbitrary scale.
