So we've been told there are 8 boons in The Road Darkens. So far we've been shown:

Anduril

Sting

Glamdring

Mithril Shirt

Three Golden Hairs

Leaf-Wrapped Lembas

Phial of Galadriel

Any ideas what the last one may be? We better not get Elven rope as we all know Sam was actually given a box with elven soil and a mallorn seed. All that really remains (from Galadriels gifts) are the various belts that are given to the fellowship, the elven cloaks, the elfstone, the magical scabbard given to Aragorn and the Bow of the Galadhrim given to Legolas. Mirthril shirt is given to Frodo by Bilbo and Glamdring Gandalf found during the events of the hobbit and sting was also given to Frodo by Bilbo so this last boon does not necessarily have to be one of Galadriels gifts.

I sure hope we see the bow or scabbard or something else clever.

Something REALLY cool for the scabbard could be allowing a character to have 3 restricted items (because one is sheathed in the scabbard) and possibly making weapon attachments on the attached character immune to being discarded!!! (any weapon sheathed in it would never break). Any cool ideas for what this last boon may be or even ideas of what it could do?

All I hope is that this last boon will be something that can stick around instead of being discarded for the rest of campaign.

Elven rope could be, as not only the Elves gave it to Sam, but to the whole Company. The Elves put the rope in their boats and then Sam was reminded that he forgot to take some rope with him himself. So they still could do rope.

But it could be anything. Scabbard would be cool and the elven cloaks would also be very thematic, because those have helped the Company a lot!

Super disappointing... Not only is it just rope instead of some awesome bow or scabbard or something but its also another one use only boon. Not cool..

Agreed. I hope Legolas and Gimli get more of a focus in the next Saga box. It's strange that they've been overlooked for so long given they're such prominent characters. Nothing for either of them since the core set! I think they're long over due either new Hero versions, allies, or named attachments.
