Hello all,

There's a tournament coming up on the 11th and through some strange twist of luck, I have that day off from both my jobs and should be able to go. I've not played in a tournament for this game before so no sure exactly what makes a good list. I've read through a lot of threads on here, but thought I might ask for some assistance on preparing for the tournament.

Haven't decided on Rebel or Imperial yet. Do people use weapons cards? What cards do see play other than the Veteran Instincts or Push the Limit? High PS or Low PS or a mix?

If I do Rebel, I was leaning toward X-Wings, B-Wings, maybe the YT

If Imperial, I was thinking of maybe Defender and regular TIEs, but again, not too sure.

Need a little more to go on. Generally there is no guaranteed win, and the consensus is to fly what you like. People definitely use upgrades, but it depends on the list you fly. Defenders and b-wings often have hlc or ion cannons, Y-wings often have ion turrets, tie advances often have no love. Come up with a list amd people will help you modify and/or refine it.

A list of ships you have available would greatly help us in assisting you... perhaps give us the two lists you are thinking of running, Imperial or Rebel, and we can go from there.

If you're not sure what local people play then just play whatever you have played the most. Echo comments about what you own.
