On which boat?

By PenguinBonaparte, in X-Wing

There goes wave 5. LOL!

Pod racing....? I mean boat...

It aint pod racin' if you aint rubbin'! Buh bye wave 5 may you forever be in our hearts!

Doesn't it take like 2 miles for those things to come to a stop? I can see how these things can happen.

Its like playing armada, gotta plan your course 5-8 turns in advance

I feel like there are bigger concerns if X-Wing ships are going through the Suez Canal, but if we find out that wave 5 took a dip in the pond, I'll be putting the ones I got from GenCon on Ebay immediately.

How does that even happen? Sure, they may take a LONG time to stop, but they had to have seen each other. Just turn away. Look at all that ocean they had to maneuver in.

Clearly the ship on the right was:

One news source is stating that one of the ships was having rudder problems. The turning radius on these ships is massive as well as the time it takes to slow to a stop so maybe the other ship was unable to get out of the way.. I'm wondering if things would have been worse if they didn't hit another ship. Would it have run aground? It looks like a lot of water around them, but when it takes 5 kilometers to stop there's not much you can do.

hey, they ran 2 star destroyers into eachother. Once.

Almost as hilarious as when that one guy slowly crashed into boxes with a forklift. Almost.

I hope the dudes on the boats are A-okay. As well as my F*CKING DECIMATOR

The report said no casualties. Not sure if they meant that in the broader sense of injuries or not, but I'm going to assume so to justify laughing. But really, if it's going through the Suez then being shipped back from Minnesota to those under-served European markets that would explain a few things. :)
