X wing scale ISD an answer?
Oh ho ho, if only it was CLOSE to the 1:400 or 1:600 for epic ships, deffinatly not 1:256 scale for x-wing.
It could almost be a baby victory class maybe. A ISD won't fit in your garage, that's why there won't be an x-wing scale ISD ever.
Otherwise a cool model.
It's not just lack of model, it's lack of any sort of way to put something that big in the game reasonably. It's got so much firepower, you would need either a bucket of dice, or something like 40 attacks per round. It's just not something the X-Wing Miniatures game scales to. If you scale it down small enough to fit in the game, it's not a Star Destroyer anymore.
No. For the billionth time, there will be no SDs in this game.
That's why they came up with Armada. Go play that when it comes out.
I don't remember the exact quote or who said it... but last time this was discussed.....
"ya, we should get star destroyer playmats to represent which 3x3 ft section of the SD the rebels are currently dying over"
it just wont scale in a dogfight game... if you must have star destroyer, wait for armada.

Had never seen that model, or ever heard anyone suggest having an ISD in x-wing. Sounds SUPER FUN. U r rite, would fix ALL problems.

Cockney, sorry that you into this. Obviously SDs are cool, but this thread (even this model) pops up periodically and people are obviously tired of it.

No one really knows, can't measure the models so it's hard to say. But it's a sliding scale so it's not like X-Wing with a standard scale for most everything.
that said, the above model is way to big for Armada. In Armada, a ISD will likely be somewhere in the 8-10 inch range.

Probably. There's no reason why there couldn't be an ISD in Armada, in fact, I'm sure it will be in Wave 2.
I wonder..... of all the people who desperately want a SD in xwing, who are primarily rebel players or imperial.
meaning, I wonder if the interest in the SD is primarily imperials wanting do see how much destruction it can cause or rebels who just want something big to shoot at.
An ISD on X-wing scale is 19 feet long (approx. 6 meters for people who use metric system). Even on the CR90s scale, it is 12 feet (approx. 4 meters). It is just to large.
