I'm having an issue waiting on wave 5, I don't know what I should get next. I have a starter kit, x-wing, b-wing, a-wing, hawk, e-wing, MF, firespray, advance tie, tie interceptor, imperial aces, tie fighter.

I kind of want some Y wings but they are sold out, thinking about imperial aces, or maybe some z-95s I'm so conflicted

Oh and I play rebel mostly, imps are for my friends to use

If you focus your play on Rebels, I'd snag the new Aces pack or a couple Z-95s, I've come to love them lately.

Rebel Aces is good. Rebel Transport has some new droids and X-wing pilots.

It's amazing. No matter where you go, something is sold out. And it's not necessarily the same things (like Falcons). Some places, it's TIE Interceptors, other places it's Slave 1. I haven't heard of Y-Wings being sold out until just now.

Too bad I can't just teleport over to get some stuff at other people's stores.

To answer your question, Rebel Aces is a good buy if you don't have one already (since you are focusing on Rebels).

But of your two choices (Z-95's or Imp Aces), neither is a bad choice. So go for Z's since they are Rebels.

z95s have really grown on me.

I played a recent episode of the tantive campaign where i could have 75 points of non unique rebels as an escort.

I took 4 z95s and a hwk with an ion cannon.

They accounted *really* well with themselves. None of them were destoryed and they took out a lot of imperials... what cost me the game was being unable to shut down kath scarlet quickly enough and her managing to cripple the aft of the tantive.

But in the few turns the game went on the 4z95s and lone hwk killed three black squadron pilots, 1 tie bomber, mauled soontir fell and pranged a shield off Kath.

I really want the rebel transport for porkins but I'm hoping to get that for xmas from my gf. Still trying to choose 2x Z-95s or Rebel aces.

I looked on amazon and Y wings are selling for $30 and MM is sold out, and I know my local store is out of everything except for newish stuffs.

I've learned that when wanting to buy X-wing at my local stores I need to impulse buy because who knows, 2 weeks later they could be out of something and then who knows how long it will be until it is back in stock.

Side question: Does anyone know why Miniature Market always seems to have 20+ left overs when new things come out but local stores barely get enough to cover their preorders (if they even can cover their preorders)? Is it a volume thing, because Miniature Market moves such a raw amount of product they get order priority? Or is it simply just a matter of who puts an order in first(IE Miniature Market puts in their order for 100 before a different store orders 20 and FFG only has 110 so MM gets their full 100 before the other store)?

I have to say I bought a defender for those cards. I never field it as I personally dont like them that much and i always go for classics before eu ships.

But... my mate Simon loves the defender so it gets used now and then.. just not by me

It happens in the X-wing series Corran even uses the Defender's tractor beam to pull a really sharp turn by locking onto a space station

Seriously though a Defender is a lot of fun to fly especially when you get used to the white Kturn, you never realize how often you would K-turn if only it wouldn't stress you.

I find Predator very useful for Rebels like X/B/E-Wings and even the YTs (both the Falcon and Outrider) Outmaneuver I would probably save for A-wings on the Rebel side (once I tried it on Luke to have basically a Second Wedge kinda fun as well)

I ended up going to barns and noble from a hot tip, they had a lot of old stuff, A wing, B wing, Tie bomber, Tie interceptor, Hawk, MF, Shuttles and a few core sets. But I made up my mind I want an Y wing + Z-95 or rebel aces or 2x Z-95, it had none of them.
