So I got new storage for my models. (Plano 1374, yeah!) But i found that i was missing a base for one of my small ships. Anybody know where i could get a replacement.i love big battles and it makes me sad that i cant fly all my ships.

I need to find some replacement cardboard squares that go on the bases as I think I threw mine out.
The dice shop sell spare small and large ship bases.
how many ships you got, every ship comes with one, and I have yet to field everything so I have tons of bases. I guess if you are newer or only have a couple I can see that being an issue.
I'm going to let you in on a secret, I didn't want to because I want them all to myself but you can buy the star trek game ones for super cheap and they come in different colors and they are basically the same. I saw someone with them during a tournament and he was like yeah they are the same.

I have probably around 20 ships total. Maybe its just OCD of me, but i need that replacement. What if i want a 500 point game?

They do, and for casual play that's probably OK, but for a tournament, they should be the same shape. It seems like a small thing, but it makes a difference on overlaps and range calls that can be significant.
The Litko stands aren't the best option. Just bought a couple of the large ones to mount a pair of bandai ships on and the mounting "connection" is a bit "over thought"

Don't use the Star Trek ones, you won't get the full movement out of your ships, sure its only a millimeter or two, but those stands are not correct for this game.. and are not tourney legal either.
Try the team covanant or the other ideas here..
I'm good if my opponent wants to use the Star Trek bases. It makes them just a tad bit closer to my ship and that could be the difference between a stress token from a Tactician at range two, or a range three attack instead.
