I'd normally be interested in this, but I really don't like the idea of competing for another country's title. If somehow I managed to win, it would feel like I'd taken away France's right to have a Champion for a year.

So, possibly see you at the next big non-nationals event instead?

Well you'd be taking the title from JJ so...

I was considering going to this but the bannings made my deck illegal on 3 seperate occasions in the last three weeks. Good luck to the new aspiring champion. You probably deserve it more than I do anyway haha. :)

So how did it go?

@ Senglon, where did you place and what were you playing? Will anyone be posting any tournament reports?

The French Nats was finished and I win with Akuma ! Well a French take the title from JJ, so as what it is practicable to win when no English come across the Channel to kick our French buttocks lengua.gif And so I was a promise to JJ when I saw him at PotM, I had to win this Nat especially if he came to defend his title.

Except for my Akuma there was Sakura Turn it On deck, Chun-li Deck, Zi mei aggro, Hata** death, Seung Mina, Ivy.... But my memory plays on me tricks because of the furious game sessions where it is necessary to manage everything in the opponent's Staging area and card pool. So my two nemesis was to meet (one more time) the only Chun li Deck pilot by one of my friend playgroup and he lost after an epic battle in half final and the Sakura Turn it on pilot my Vincent (who run a Zi-mei deck in the Uk PotM). But I faced him in my first round and he had these two worse beginning of game of all the tournament !

I have to thanks a lot FFG for prize, with a LOT of promo cards, Life counter (hope to receive it soon !) and the small engraved plate for the champion, it will be an attractive one trophy in my gaming room happy.gif

Well done Damien, I knew that Akuma deck of yours would go far ;)

Hopefully next time you decide to come to England, we'll actually get to play one another :P

Well done Damien. You probably deserved to win it more than me the first time around as well, haha.

Thanks Joe et JJ ! I don't know if I deserved more than you to win but you shouldn't forget that you are one GREAT player ! Sincerely I liked coming to play in England the last time and it will be with enjoyment that I shall come to share some furious gaming sessions with all of you. And yeah Joe I hope that we can play together !!

Thanks for the kind words. It would be fantastic to see you again if you ever come to play UFS in the UK again.
