In the US, unless a company specifically has a different fiscal year, Q1 is Jan-Mar, Q2 is Apr-Jun, Q3 is July-Sep and Q4 is Oct-Dec.

I did a search on-line about FFG, and do not see it mentioned that their fiscal year does not correspond to the natural year.

So the end of Q3 would be September 30th.

EDIT: I am a moron ... I must have fat fingered my search ... after doing it again, it is confirmed that FFG's fiscal year-end is December 31st, 2014, so end of Q3 for them would be September 30, 2014.

Actually missing the mark of quarterly projections is contributing something of note.

If FFG states something and it doesn't come to fruition, that is something of noteworthy importance to the product.

Especially as we live in a world where if things don't happen by Q#, more big numbers change.

Now since FFG isn't publicly traded, all the issues are probably internal. It most likely impacts the company FFG probably had a deal with in production or logistics.

No telling someone to hurry up isn't. (which is fair on FFG's part). And referencing such is a bit of a strawman.

I just had an online retailer tell me that he won't put up presales of the Wave 5 ships yet and I should check back in 30 days.

The update date on the Upcoming page for the Wave 5 products on the boat says 9/19

There's always going to be an issue when you don't make your own product, they obviously don't plan on making us wait after all they want our money and our goodwill but things happen you sometimes have no control over.

But I'd rather delays and a good game than GWs guaranteed release but no attempt to balance.

Yes it was. On the spanish website is still dated as such.

Almost no chance for Oct. Every release so far other then the GR-75 has been 8-10 weeks from On the Boat to stores. Wave 5 is looking to be mid to late November. Nov 14th is 8 weeks.

I'll be surprised to see it before Christmas. It just went to the printers about the same time Wave 5 went on the boat.

Armada is set for Q1 of 2015, it won't be out this year.

Worlds is Nov 6-9th and while they may have some stuff there... I wouldn't count on it, and there's very little chance they'll have it in stock the week after. That weekend is 7 weeks from On the Boat, and most stuff takes 8-10 weeks.
