ABX List Needs Critique

By DarkPrimus, in X-Wing

Hey folks, long-time X-Wing player, long-time not-poster here.

There's a small local tourney coming up next weekend and since I just got Rebel Aces, I wanted to try and come up with something a little new to bring to the table.

Jake Farrell — A-Wing 24

Push the Limit 3

Proton Rockets 3

Veteran Instincts 1

A-Wing Test Pilot 0

Keyan Farlander — B-Wing 29

Push the Limit 3

Advanced Sensors 3

Wedge Antilles — X-Wing 29

Predator 3

R7 Astromech 2

Strategy is fairly straight-forward: Jake makes an alpha strike with the Proton Rockets and then harries the enemy while Keyan and Wedge bring their firepower to bear in coordination with each other. PS at 9/7/9 should allow for superior positioning against most targets, and Keyan and Wedge each have cards that should allow them to be be a bit more survivable. Thoughts?

A single Proton Rocket shot does not make an alpha strike.

I kind of feel that wedge never gets to use the R7 because it requires a target lock and other than Han Shoots first or Roark shenanigans you never manage to have it available. (since you usually use it on offense). Tarn is basically the best way to use the R7.

It should do okay as long as you don't land on astroids or get bumped too often.

My thought process was that Predator would act like a mini TL for Wedge, and TL stick around for multiple turns, I can drop it on a target and then use Focus actions on subsequent turns while attacking other targets.
