Doh...I totally made a logical leap there that I can't back up. I am expecting "Old Master" to be Maul, but my speculation about his relationship with the Inquisitorius is entirely based on my own "wouldn't it be cool" settings for my home game!

May be unlikely, but what if Maul became one of the first inquisitors? Didn´t Palpatine said that he had plans with him, when they fought on mandalore?

After that duel though Maul did manage to get away. There was a comic book (Son of Dathomir), based on an unreleased TCW arc. Maul's current whereabouts are unknown.

I am not saying that it's not possible but keep in mind that (iirc) that was one of the last Dark Horse comic which means no longer cannon.

Son of Dathomir came out just in time to become official canon .

Interesting how Hera's accent starts to show itself while being around her father.

I know a few people who step into a thicker southern (American) accent while on the phone with their family. Nice touch.

Pity Hera and her dad made up so quickly. While I don't think the Grand Theft Auto plot would have sustained itself over several episodes, it would have been nice to get some more development between the two before they reconciled. Ah well - it was still pretty good as-is.

I enjoyed the episode and the betrayal was kind of a surprise. Although, them working together and destroying the light cruiser ended up being a happy ending for Ryloth and the Rebellion.

It's not that I minded this episode...or the one before that...or the one before that...but they are dull compared to end of season 1, or even the first half of season 2. Part of the dullness is how much they're trying pack into single episodes, you just know how the arc is going to resolve. I did like the accent change, I wish they had time for more of that kind of subtlety, but the "working together to right the ship metaphor" was the opposite, like taking a sledgehammer to fine china.

Let's hope things improve towards the end of the season.

What makes you think it's different, besides the 4 TIEs ? I think it's just a regular Gozanti with all the HP filled. The 4 TIE can be represented by the hangar bay or a simple production modification with a corresponding reduction of HP (from 4 to 2 i'd guess).

I'd be more interested in an official stat for the Arquitens light cruiser which has become the favorite imperial ship this season. And the Arquitens has enough fluff to be easily available to the rebellion in the form of discarded Clone Wars warships.

The fact that the imperial gozanti only has a dorsal double laser turret and a ventral single laser turret, and no other weaponry. The gozanti also has a chunk of its encumbrance capacity as external. This would be interesting to see in the mechanics. So, is there more armour? Hull threshold? Strain threahold? How is the trade off of fewer weapons affecting the stats of the ship?

Well that episode was a relief. I was beginning to worry after the last three fillers left me with mixed feelings, but I more or less enjoyed the entire episode.

I agree with you, sure the GTA plot shouldn't have gone on for two episodes the father daughter relationship should have gone for two episodes. Maybe if they did an episode on Ryloth where the band has to get codes for the carrier or something and then have the GTA plot for the second episode?

The "light carrier" looks very much like it could be Rebels' interpretation of a Quasar Fire-Class carrier. At least that was my first reaction upon seeing it.

Thanks Braendig, I didn't realize the quasar-fire had been given stats already. According to the databank it IS the quasar fire in that episode. Though i wouldn't be surprised if it was made by Kuat instead of sorusuub now.

I've enjoyed the individual arcs for each character, but I'm ready to move back on with the main plot. Hopefully things will pick up a bit now.

I want to see what happens between Ahsoka and Vader now that they know that they're both alive.

Somewhere in the AoR Core or on Stay on Target there's a sidebar that explains the TIE Bomber can be reconfigured with a troop carrier pod instead of the bombs. I guess that's what's been portrayed.

As for the lightsaber cut, they didn't climb throught it, they all jumped through it carefully avoiding to touch the metal.

But why do my favorite episodes now have to bring back things from AotC to be enjoyable? First it was digging up some Original Ralph McQuarrie concept art, now AotC characters.

As for the cutting, no this episode was not the worst example, but they where still pretty casual about it. But it happens all the time, and like others have said, it happened in the clone wars as well.
