Are we STILL critiquing whether or not I'm wrong to find the discrepancy jarring or not? Well I had no idea who the actress was but accurately guessed her age to within two years without even looking her up or seeing her picture. So either I am staggeringly lucky or there is something to what I say about her sounding old. If you can't tell, that's your business but plainly I was able to so there must be things about her voice that indicate that sort of age.Sorry fixed my post. The age I posted was wrong, as the first info I found on Kath Soucie, before I checked IMDb, listed her age incorrectly I still maintain that 48 isn't old per se. She doesn't sound old to me.
My issue is less that you finding the voice jarring, but think that 48 is "verging on elderly". Your idea of "old" is strange to me, especially with lifespans being upwards of 80/90 in my family.
Tell you what, I'll drop this and ignore you from now on. Should make every one happy.
