Dude, I live in Washington. You cant cross the street without seeing someone smoking out. As for what, might I recommend the Beast Mode strain? That **** will hit you like Marshawn Lynch tackling a 90 year old grandmother.

I live in washington too, but i have yet to see even 1 person smoking weed anywhere but concerts.

Back on topic, I like the show, and have had fun with it. I didn't watch TCW when it was being broadcast but do have it on Blu-ray and I have been trying hard to catch up there. So far i have just gotten to a few episodes into the second season and season 1 all finished.

Rebels is fun and I hope it continues to get my Players to ask questions I have to rule on for the game... "Can I get a lightsaber like the Inquisitor?" "Howercently can I get something like the Ghost?"

I wonder how that could affect job applications someday? I've been asked if I've ever done anything that could be considered a crime more then once during job interviews. It went well beyond the "have you been arrested?" questions. A.i. hooked up to a polygraph and literally asked, "Have you ever in your life done anything that is a crime?" Then asked to explain in detail what I did.

Is there an exception when applying for certain government or law jobs? Or were these past interviewers breaking the law? It's also been literally decades ago so perhaps laws have changed?

Ah ok that solves it? During the actual "interview" there were no such questions. During the "background check" portion of the hiring process these questions were asked.

I also watched the end of Rebels frame by frame. They were all CR-90's. No Pelta. The Recon #14 clip above does have a Pelta so it looks like we will see one. We just haven't yet.

I also saw a blue painted A-wing in that clip above. Assuming Season 2 is still before the Battle of Yavin (most EU sources have the first A-wings appearing AFTER Yavin), here is another canon change. I wish they wouldn't do such (mess with old canon, especially assumptions from movie canon) unless there is a good reason. They could just have easily had some early Rebels flying around in Y-wings, for example, without contradicting what has come before. Perhaps they will clearly be called very early prototypes in Season 2?

Or, regarding the pre-BoY A-Wings, they may just go ahead with the R-22 Spearhead designation and figure the A-Wings are a revisit/refinement of the concept. Then again, Stay on Target has the E-Wings showing up before the Battle of Endor when they were previously a post-RotJ design that showed up in the Dark Empire comics. Of course, it's not like the Droids TV series (which caused the issue with A-Wings prior to ANH in the first place) is part of the canon any longer.

Coin toss I guess as to which way they'll go, though given Filoni's track record I think it's more likely he's going to go for "what's cooler?"

I will admit I'll be curious to see how Season 2 pans out now that Greg Weissman has moved on to working on the Kanan comic book series. I could see Greg's handprints on a fair portion of the series (particularly the various callbacks) that made the whole season tie together quite well, and I really do hope it's something that shows up in later seasons too.

I don’t disagree with you, but we are limited in the references we have available. From what I know of the folks at FFG, they usually tend to do their homework pretty well, and so I figure their numbers are probably as good as anyone else’s — until proven otherwise.

If a star destroyer has a crew of 5000 I'm okay with that.

If that’s the number that is quoted on Rebels, or other canonical source, then I’m fine with that. But until we have a more canonical source, I’m of the opinion that the numbers from FFG are likely to be the best that we will get.

As to Sabine's bombs, whose to say ion bbs are not really powerful? We've seen a ion disruptor take an AT-DP in one shot, and a ground based ion lay out an entire star destroyer. How powerful are these weapons then? Possibly very. Even the malevolence class warship had a super powerful ion weapon.

That whole sequence did kind of bother me. I mean, they blew up all those jury-rigged bombs to fry the whole ISD and temporarily knock out virtually the entire crew of the ship, but then that same TIE fighter is in good enough shape that they can just hop in and fly it back out?

I can see one or the other end of that process, but not the two of them together. That’s just one step beyond what my personal credibility meter will allow. But YMMV.

I had a TS/SCI clearance when I went to work for DISA in the basement of the Pentagon, and I was told that the position was a “lifestyle poly” type, but I had no idea what that meant. I was also told that they could do random urinalysis testing.

However, for the five-plus years I had that clearance, I never once actually took a polygraph test or did the urinalysis test.

I’m not saying that those kinds of things never happen in interviews or background checks, only explaining what my personal experience is.

Well as a rationalization for the Tie-fighter being ready to fly, after a power cut it takes linger for me to restart my computer than my microwave oven. One is a great deal more complicated than the other.

But we shall see how it goes. Maybe he will be busy with other projects as well and have to use flunkies so we will get more new character(s).

With that I see him being the a very good Reason for them to expand the focus of their operations to areas away from Lothal, but Still returning there from time to time.

There's one thing that gives me hope. If you watch that behind the scenes video someone posted further up the thread, someone in it mentions that one worry was that they'd mess up Darth Vader. And then you get the same interviewee going "and they don't! oh, they so don't!" I got the impression they were very aware of the risk and worked to avoid it. I think one reason Vader wasn't in the first season was precisely because they wanted the main characters to "level up" before more serious opposition entered precisely to avoid having nerf the big guns.

As for A- and B-Wings prior to Endor, I am cool with that. The a-wing especially, seems to resemble the earlier Jedi Order starfighters. Perhaps Ashoka helped design them since they at rumoured to be her squad. They could be named after her A for Ashoka. Or the A-wing is the hyperdrive equipped version of the spearhead. The squad shown does have a Pelta corvette flying them around.

I never really bought the rebellion having the resources to design new ships, I always saw them as using whatever they could acquire, whether from stealing or allies, rather than designing new things.

All the new canon does is espouse what Yoda said: "you must unlearn what you have learned."

As things are revealed, the current and older RPG fluff is being proven erroneous.

I liked the Inquisitor. He wasn't a cackling narcissist like Palpatine or a zero tolerance murder machine like Vader.
