Discarding a Captured Card

By MikeNYHC, in Star Wars: The Card Game - Rules Questions

If I'm using something like Cloud City Incinerator to discard a captured card, does that captured card go in my discard pile or my opponent's?

I'm curious because let's say I capture and choose to discard Yoda. I don't want my opponent to be able to search his discard pile and bring Yoda back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cards always go to their owners discard pile.

"(2.15) Cards Leaving Play

If a card that is not under the control of its owner
leaves play, after the resolution of the effect that drives
it from play, the card is physically placed in its owner’s
equivalent out of play area (hand, deck, or discard pile).
Other card effects cannot interact with this secondary
physical placement."

Does the Incinerator reaction have to be used the moment the card is captured or can it be used later in the turn or on future turns?

Does the Incinerator reaction have to be used the moment the card is captured or can it be used later in the turn or on future turns?

Reactions must be triggered immediately after their triggering condition. So the Cloud City Incinerator can only be triggered immediately after the card is captured.
