If we only went by the movies we would have very few ships, in fact basically only the ISD for imperial and the Nebular and Moncarala for the Alliance. So it makes sense that the EU would be included to expand the game but how far will it go? It would be really cool to see some of the New Republic ships and would be great to have heroes like Grand Admiral Thrawn along with the rest of the imperial Remnants. From there though where do we go, as far forward as the Vong invasion? Or as far back as the clones wars and have ventors squaring off against the CIS fleet? Either way I think it's going to be really interesting to see where Armada goes with the large expanded universe of starwars

I would love to see the CIS Fleet and Republic Clone Wars fleet appear and the Victory class is an EU Clone Wars ship so it is certainly possible for the canon Clone Wars era ships to appear. Also they have a New Republic Fighter model in X-Wing so I could easily see some New Republic Capital ship models in Armada

It is going to be in the Rebellion era, and yes it will have EU ships, because the VSD is an EU ship.

CIS would be a third entire faction. The venator is hit or miss.. it really is old republic/clone wars if some of the new star wars books keep bringing up the venator(the tarkin one does) then it wouldnt be a bad guess. With ep7 comming out, I am going to hazard a guess that the vong are dead.
