I've just discovered the game (I'm late, I know!), but checking stock see that many of the expansion packs are out of print. Are they all going to be available again or are some gone for good?

Edited by dvorIf you check some local stores like Barnes and Nobles you can sometimes find some gems. I found multiple Firesprays, Falcons, A-Wings, B-Wings, Y-Wings, X-Wings and Intercepters at mine.

Q3 ends on September 30th or December 31st, I believe, depending if you are talking calendar year or financial year.
OP: There is loads of stuff out of stock, but your first two recommended purchases should be easy to find: 2 core sets. Then, if you are just looking for more stuff, I'd suggest getting at least one of everything, so alternate between rebels and imps with whatever is left in stock. If you want to get competitive ASAP instead, you might want to wait though. Just start saving now and then have a big ol' shopping spree once stock is replaced.

Just to echo others and/or reassure you: lots of things are out of stock, and that's unfortunately been a chronic problem for this game. (Basically, their production capacity has lagged demand for the game--and that's been true despite, according to rumor, at least two expansions of production capacity.)
But nothing is out of print.
Actually the core set is sold out at mm and csi and every Barnes and lgs I've seen.

IIRC FFG became the 2nd largest miniature game company worldwide basically overnight. Because of X-Wing. They never anticipated the demand. That explains the lack of production capacity.
Um, just noticed that the VT-49 and YT-2400 went to "on the boat" and everything scum related was upgraded to "at the printer". Interesting...
Wave 5 on the boat isn't new. Wave 6 going to printer is new (except for Most Wanted).
Shortages will continue to happen. Though the wide range product going out is a bit of a surprise. But, everything will come out again, eventually. Patience is needed.

Trying various forms of "out of print" I found this thread and nothing else. So even if the OP did use the search bar, he would of found nothing based on the wording of his post.
Screaming at someone to search, without using search first yourself to see if anything would turn up is not exactly helpful.
My local Barnes and Nobles has almost everything, including the rare Rebel Transport. Of course, they are at full retail price. I think that's why it kills them. You can get such a discount at a local game store or online.
As to where to get the base game (besides my local B&N), you can go to NWS-ONLINE. I've bought a bunch from them and they are even cheaper than MM. They are selling the base boxed set for $23 and the Falcon for $17.50. You can get all the Wave 4 stuff in one bunch for $34, which comes out to $8.50 per blister. I got their Tantive IV for only $52.

I got my wave 2 through NWS. Firespray, Tie fighter, 2 A-wings, X-wing, 2 Interceptors, 2 Y-wings for just over $100 plus shipping. NWS scales their shipping (unlike MM that premium charges you!) so you can find good deals for how much you buy.
WHY? why is this game so popular and pulling in more and more people, if it sucked there would be plenty of stock...for no one to buy.
